Find the right adapter
Two quick checks tell you which adapter you need: which valve you are parking (HVE or saliva ejector) and, for the saliva ejector, which hose you have. Measure once, order right.
How to measure
- Measure the inner diameter of the suction hose. You need to remove the
plastic tailpiece to measure.
- If the tailpiece will not come off, inspect the hose instead. Sometimes the tailpiece is glued in by the manufacturer. In those cases you will have to cut the hose below the tailpiece to install Magnadent, so instead of cutting it now to get your measurement, use a visual inspection: a thin smooth hose fits our Small 7.5 unit and a thicker ribbed hose fits our Small 10.5 unit.
- Verify with the chart below. If you are still unsure, please send us a photo of your existing A-dec lines and we can help with selecting the proper size.

Magnadent adapters retrofit onto A-dec brand suction hoses and valves. The Tray Mount slides into your existing hanger and locks with a small adjustment screw. The adapters park your suction tips within reach; they do not change suction.
